The surgery team at Animal Emergency and Specialty Center strives to provide the best surgical care for your pet and peace of mind for you. Our surgeon, Dr. Regina Schroeder, has 20 years of surgical experience as well as board certification through the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Our wonderful team of licensed veterinary technicians and assistants have over 50 years of combined experience as well as expertise in the field of veterinary anesthesia and surgery.

A board-certified veterinary surgeon is a licensed veterinarian who has completed an internship and residency program in surgical care of small animal patients. A veterinary surgeon can offer special assistance in the following kinds of cases:

We have a dedicated rehabilitation therapy department and can offer extracorporeal shock wave therapy, prosthetic/orthotics, underwater treadmill and laser therapy for a variety of injuries or illnesses.
